A rhyme to play when baby is sitting on your knee, or when you're getting a toddler or small child ready to go out. It can be a struggle after all ~ getting those shoes on, that zipper zipped, and keeping them safe from rushing out onto a busy street. This simple little counting rhyme might help.
With a little baby on your knee, tap feet together, 'jump' baby into the air, 'zip' your fingers up their front, wrap your arms around, then away you go with a lively knee bounce to the end.
