A box of clocks ~ knee bouncer

Sheena

Rootling through bric-a-brac in a charity shop, I found a box full of clocks in all different shapes and sizes.

Nowadays most clocks are phones and they don't tick, so here's a knee-bouncing reminder of what they used to sound like.

Sway baby from side to side on the first of each pair of lines, then knee bounce on the ticks and tocks.

On 'cuckoo' lift baby right up into the air. The last line is a slide to the floor and a Jack-in-the-box spring up into the air, when all those springs come boinging out of the box.

A box of clocks goes

TICK……TOCK……TICK……TOCK, (big, slow bounces) A box of clocks goes

tick…tock… tick… tock… tick… tock… tick… tock…, (quicker ticker bounces)

A box of clocks goes

ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka (very quick bounces) ~

Cuckoo!

Cuckoo!

Cuckoo!

Shake it all up!

A box of clocks goes

ticka-ticka-ticka-ticka TICK………TOCK………tick tock tick tock

Cuckoo!

Cuckoo!

Cuckoo!

Drop it on the floor and the springs go

BOING!
